Voluntourism in Morocco – Day 10

For a tailor-made voluntourism experience that includes hiking, one does not need to focus on the Atlas Mountains: the Dades and Todra gorges both offer excellent hiking, and are highly recommended.
The drive north to Fes is long, but the constantly changing landscape helps the time pass quickly – you get to see the dramatic rock formations of the Ziz Valley, the snow-capped High Atlas mountains in the distance, lakes and Barbary apes in the Middle Atlas Mountains, and even an alpine European feel in Ifrane. This area is typically covered in snow in February and even into March.
